Link: The Father of All Men Is 340,000 Years Old

I find the title of the _New Scientist_ [report][], “The father of all men is 340,000 years old,” a bit confusing, since the rest of the article suggests that the great-great-great ancestor of Albert Perry of South Carolina was, yes, older than the current oldest genetic “Adam”, which is dated at 60,000 to 140,000 years ago, but that that particular ancestor didn’t circulate terribly widely.
